My journey to Catopia.

I trained as a graphic artist many years ago, and have dabbled with drawing and painting over the years.

However, in April 2018 I did a little coloured pencil drawing for a friend who had recently said farewell a much loved cat. While sad, I enjoyed the creative process and it sparked a desire to do more. So I started on our four cats, then friends’ cats, and then commissions.

A year down the track, and drawing and painting cats is truly my Catopia. My happy place.

Come Friday night all I want to do is sit with a glass of wine and start my next artwork. Sad, but true!
